TRIP INFORMATION
SEASON December through the end of March
DEPARTURE TIME Monday-Friday: 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 am, 12:00 Noon, and 2:30 pm
CRUISE 2 1/2 hour narrated cruise by members of the American Cetacean Society. Boats travel 1/2 to 3 miles off shore in search of the California Gray Whale. In addition to gray whales, dolphins, Pilot Whales, seals, sea lions, fish and marine birds may be encountered. Since no one can actually "guarantee" gray whale sightings, we consider dolphins and porpoises (which are whales) a legitimate sighting. If no gray whales or dolphins are sighted, passengers will receive a free pass for a future trip.
BOATS All boats are fully inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard. All boats feature hot and cold food and beverage service, comfortable viewing facilities (topside and inside). All boats have restroom facilities onboard.
DRESS Dress warm. Bring a jacket, gloves, hat, and wear rubber sole shoes. Don't forget your camera and binoculars.
