Frequently Asked Questions Here you will find a list of frequently asked questions, everything from what is a "Charter" to how early you should show up for a trip. |
How early should I show up
for a trip?
Typically, you should arrive about 45 minutes prior to the trip scheduled departure time. Your reservations are held for 30 minutes prior to the trip departure time. By arriving 45 minutes early, you will have ample time to get parked, and pick up your boarding passes and get any necessary tackle, etc. without holding up the boat. Back to Top |

On most open party trips during the week, credit cards are not required for a reservation. However, if you are booking for 7 or more passengers then we usually like to take a deposit for your group. On limited load and weekend trips credit card reservations are required. Credit card reservations can be made over the phone. |

On open party trips it is best to book 5 to 7 days in advance. Usually we can get you a reservation the day before (depending on availability). We take reservations up to 14 days in advance. |
How far in advance should I book a charter? On CHARTERS you should give us as much time as possible. Typically, a charter is booked a few months in advance, we have also been known to put a charter together in a few hours notice. |

so no reservation is required for tackle. |

We get this question a lot, we leave that up to the Captain. In general: 1/2 Day & Twilight fishes coastal reefs anywhere from
Laguna Beach to Huntington Beach usually fairly close to the beach. |

We do run in light rain, if it becomes extremely windy then we would cancel a trip. If the trip has already left the dock and conditions become unsafe or un-fishable, then we would issue a "Rain Check" either 1/2 fare or full fare depending on the time spent fishing. |
Do you have wheelchair access? Yes and no, the smaller the chair the better, we don't have a ramp to the boat. Our crew will assist in boarding so it helps if you can stand long enough to board the boat. |

We do not have an age limit, we leave this to your discretion. |
